How Montgomery County's Zoning Rewrite Affects You: A Technical Worksession - Presented by AIA|Potomac Valley

An in-depth worksession to understand how and why the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance is being comprehensively rewritten, issues pertaining to land use and development in the county, new standards that are being developed, and how transportation and sustainability can be improved through these code changes.

This is the first of an intensive two-part series of workshops that will help architects and allied professionals understand the proposed changes; how the changes will impact their professional practice; how to help effect a better code rewrite; and how to interpret the new code to clients and, as citizen architects, to their communities.

Feedback from participants at the Feb. 4th workshop will help determine the agenda for the follow-up workshop scheduled for March 24th.  All invitees will receive details to the second workshop after Feb. 4th.
