2021 Washingtonian Residential Design Award Winners


Our esteemed three-person jury met in July 2021 and gave accolades to 10 projects.
Our jury included Julie Hacker, FAIA of Chicago, IL, Paulett Taggart, FAIA from San Francisco, CA and Lisa Gray, FAIA of New Haven, CT. Our jury reviewed 81 projects which included everything from architectural details to very large multifamily projects. In awarding the projects they looked both at architectural quality and environmental performance.

These projects will be included in an upcoming issue of Washingtonian Magazine as well as the fall issue of ARCHITECTUREDC. Awards will be presented at a ceremony on September 22 at the District Architecture Center. Congratulations to our winners!
